I'd share my turkey with him!!!! Happy Thanksgiving. Sally

Heather said...

Oh my goodness, that was the best Thanksgiving story EVER! :) I hope the doggies get loads of Thanksgiving-y treats, and I hope that turkey doesn't give either of them the positively lethally stinktastic gas my mom's poodles shoot out after they've eaten some...

(And PS to Mr. Ozzie: a very special video will be coming your way tomorrow! Filming is set for 9:30am, woo-hoo! :D )

Fifi Flowers said...

You are hilarious AGAIN! Your dogs are sooooo cute! That was one BIG turkey in the photo... WHO has an oven big enough for that... I know I don't.

That's too cute. I was so afraid you were gonna tell me they got to the turkey while you weren't looking, leaving you with none. Kind of like how my lab stole an entire block of cheese off the counter while I wasn't looking. Or my Shitzu stealing my sandwich. Or my son's toast this morning. Or...

Happy Thanksgiving Nikki to you and yours! Your puppies are too adorable, and the captions are hilarious! Did I ever tell you about the time when my husband was a little boy. They left the "Sunday dinner" chicken cooling on the table while they went to church. When they got home, their dog had had a FEAST! We still love that story even though we've told it a million times. HA

I am so glad I saved your Thanksgiving post until the last possible minute of the Thanksgiving Day! Here I am, parked infront of the computer--a bit tuckered out from a couple of days full of cooking, cleaning, washing, cooking, serving, cooking---yes, lots of cooking. I just needed some "quite and down time" to visit my favorite spots---to catch up on what's happenin' in blogland---to zone out a bit before the sweet sandman nails me and I'm out for a few peaceful hours of well-deserved rest. But OH NO!!! I reach your post and BAM! You've got me in stitches over your little Turkey Tale--you and your cute poochies. I realize, Nikki, what a blessing you are to me! I am so happy to have found you through blogging. Your humor is beyond belief---and so is your wonderful spirit.
I hope you had a great Thanksgiving with your family and I will keep you and Picket in mind whenever I find a really great Wheat Dish!!! Dana

DAMN!!! I LOVE DOGS. MY FIRST WAS A SCHNAUZER. AND I ACTUALLY LAUGHED. THIS IS IMPOSSIBLE AS I NEVER LAUGH AT OTHER PEOPLE'S POSTS.
