~♥~ I WISH WEDNESDAY ~♥~

I realize that it's been Wednesday now for over 14 hours....so I'm a little slow in getting this up. But so goes my life...sheeesh I'm the lazy lady who still hasn't taken down all the Christmas stuff yet! And It's not because I'm "festive"!

So without further ado......on with "I wish Wednesday"

I wish...........mass quantities of diseased biting fleas would infest Al Franken's hair for the rest of his miserable life. The man is a waste of oxygen.

I wish............ all of my projects turned out as great as Sally's at Salmagundi . She's done some amazing work re-doing her home and the things in it. Very inspiring...so go take a peek!

I wish................That Bridget from My Silly blog will have a wonderful birthday!!! She is a very funny lady! And her blog is one of my "can't miss" blogs. And even though she knew I was a makeup-aholic and she still tempted me with Sephora which now has taken all my money.......I still love her!

I wish...........I had a more refined sense of humor....but I can't help myself...I think this is funny!

I wish................that everyone who reads this would go over to "Word to your Mother" and read this post....it will make you LAUGH like a loon. Her blog is fast becoming one of my favorites!

I wish.............winter arrived on December 25th and lasted for about 27 1/2 minutes and then magically turned to spring. I am so over winter!

I wish..................with all my heart and soul...that a person's ability to breed was based on their ability to parent. It just isn't right that some people can have kids. And I wish that my bloggy friends and my dear loved ones who ache for children...will get their wishes answered and be blessed with kids to love and cherish.

I wish................that none of us have a day like this guy!

I wish.............that I had friends this funny! Ya gotta....I mean really GOTTA read THIS POST . It will totally crack you up! Tiburon is one VERY funny lady. You're going to love her Shark Bait blog!

I wish...............I had this knife holder....it just makes me giggle. In fact I just know I'd be a gourmet chef if I had this in my kitchen!

Thanks for playing along with I wish Wednesdays....I'd love to hear what you wish......so leave a little comment..... and I hope it's true what they say...that wishes do come true!

Funny post, Nikki, and I'm glad your sense of humor is just the way it is.
Is that your house in the snow picture? I love it, whoever it belongs to. And I agree, I wish winter was long gone.

I heart "I wish Wednesdays!" I loved the "whore" thing too - funny! Now, I'm off to jump around & read your suggestions.
P.S. I'm jealous of the snow. All we have is wind making these really tall trees lean over my house & blowing my still up outside decor down. That might be a sign??

Salmagundi said...

I'm having trouble leaving a comment - hope this isn't a repeat!! I can't believe you want your projects to turn out just like mine. I have seen pictures of your beautiful home with the gorgeous bedrooms, etc. etc. Our house is tiny, which is always a challenge; but it is comfortable and just right for us at this time in our lives. Thanks for the compliment; my WISH is that you knew just how much that meant. Sally

Oh Nikki, I am so glad when you tweeter by. Just seeing your name makes me smile and this post.. Oh my heck girl, is wonderful..I am for sure going to go read the other funny blogs you recommend. The cords are a HOOT! And the fleas in his hair is the best! LOL and wish I could roll on the floor!!!! Oh I have to tell you I was sharing your blog with my hubby and he burst out laughing at your makeup drawer. He said, “ SHE is just like YOU!!!!”... see I told ya:-)
And you also hit a nerve and was so tender:) I spent five years over the birth parent program in our stake when I was S. R.S pres. I know...shock...shock... shock!!!! We hosted young girls who were putting their babies up for adoption. I went to doctor visits and stayed through labor and delivery with them as a coach. I have never personally witnessed the heartache and loving sacrifice like those young girls gave. BUT... I also witnessed the exchange of precious babies into the waiting arms of loving parents who had struggled for so long to become a parent. May your loved ones be so blessed..
Know, I love you! For your goodness and for all the emotions of you bring out in us all. Most of all for making us laugh!!!!

Happy Wednesday!!

Fleas are too good for Franken. I'd like to stick him on a hanger and roast him like the Frankenfurter he is. The man annoys me like nothing else.

And yeah, I'm over winter too. Are you guys getting any of this nasty ice storm we're getting up here, today? *groan*

Amen to the Al Frankton thing. What is up with him? And triple amen to the parenting thing. Please Lord, just give me one healthy one!

Well Nikki, I can't agree with you about Al Franken - 'cuz I live in Minnesota. Norm Coleman needs fleas in HIS hair. (His teeth could glow in a black light!) You know, he was voted in as a democrat and then changed to a republican - in office. We call him a turncoat around these parts. (Remember Minnesota is a democratic state...) Coleman's wife doesn't even live with him - she lives in Hollywood - trying to be a movie star - Anyway, I didn't want either one of these jokers, but what are you gonna do? What a circus - now we are going to be dealing with this until at least St. Pat's day they predict.... Now back to the rest of your post - I'll agree about Sally's rooms they are great - I especially loved that jelly cabinet her husband refurbished! ~ Robyn

i figure i'm gonna need to get an agent after a shout out here. STAT.

and for the record: the "whore" comic is STUPENDOUS.

Those blogs you referred us to were a hoot. I must confess that I have been in the NO category on how to clean a baby's nose and how to make him smile. Well, my younger brother was the guilty party in manipulating my kids' faces. He didn't hurt them, I promise! And as for picking a booger out of my baby's nose...well I didn't have that suction thingy. I DID have a Kleenex though and the poor thing couldn't breathe! lol
