CHRISTMAS GOES TO THE DOGS.........

*SIGH* Christmas is over for one more year. Turkey leftovers are in the fridge, the garbage can is full of paper and boxes, and now I have to take down all the decorations it took forever to put up. Where are the Christmas Elves when you really need them? I hope you all had a wonderful Christmas. I sure did.

And is there anything more pathetic than a 48 year old woman wanting an XBOX360 and Guitar Hero III as her present?...........

Why YES there is!!! It's when you can't even play with your present....because the dogs won't let you!

Christmas morning..............

Christmas afternoon................

Christmas evening..........

The day after Christmas..............

The good news is...there is something they let me actually play with! Sammye Jo over at 62cards Picked me as her giveaway winner. Congrats on winning the give-away!! I can't believe you let the dogs play Guitar Hero! My oldest son has it and it drives me WILD with the tick, tick, tick of the drums and the noise of the set!! This is the big reason I'm looking forward to him getting married, NO MORE GUITAR HERO! He'll invite over a ton of kids and they'll be singing and each playing an instrument. It's fun to have his friends around but all I can hear through my bedroom floor is the tick, tick, tick of those DARN DRUMS!! I'm glad you enjoy it though. Does your husband rock out with you or is this solely for your enjoyment?! You must have been good for Santa to bring just what you wanted! You leave me sad though bz I just realized I'm a year older than you are. I'm ancient............SIGH.

I think your babies missed their calling! I can't believe the way they will let you pose them. I have a cat, so . . . Great post. I've never played guitar hero, but I've heard so much about it I might have to try. Kathy

Send the pups down South - dear hubby is bummed because the Oldest thinks Guitar Hero for the Wii is too difficult.

Maybe Crumpet and Ozzie will jam with him?

You be careful trying to take that guitar, you might pull back a nub. LOL! Speaking of pulling back a nub, I thought about you this morning. (I read what you posted about having a grey and an ekki on the Cozy Tea Kettle.) DH took Zoey our grey out this morning so she could go to the bathroom (she will not go in her cage or on her play area, perched trained and she holds it all night long...) He proudly holds up to me both hands, all 10 fingers and exclaims "No blood or missing parts!) I wonder what is going on there....

No way! I've had Guitar Hero a while now and I'm 53 with no kids to blame. LOL What's pathetic is that my goal in life has been to beat Clay (55 yr old dear husband). This is one of the reasons my time gets all sucked up and I can't blog that often. Enjoy rockin out you rocker chick you!

Nikki, I am glad you had a wonderful Christmas. My grand-daughters got guitar hero. So, they were to busy to talk very long to their grandma. That's ok. I'll get my turn. They live in Tx. So, I'll give them another call in a couple days. Sorry the Christmas Elves couldn't help you take down your Christmas decor. They were at our house all day. All of our Christmas decor is down and put away. The house is clean and the regular home decor is back out. I even got a few new home decor items. It's feels good to be back to normal.
Hugs. Terrie

SWEET!!! Guitar Hero! I don't have one but am coveting yours...LOL! Maybe ONE DAY I'll be cool enough to have one but then my pup, Carson will probably claim it as his. Your pictures of the "sweet pups" are priceless. You capture their "thoughts" SO well. Funny thing is when I try and take a picture of Carson lately, he's so interested in the camera I only gets pictures of his face/nose heading towards the lens. HEHEHE....maybe he'll grow out of it and be "used to the PUPParazzi" like your babies are...LOL!!!

You just can't trust dogs...they want to have all the fun. Besides what's so weird about being 48 and wanting to rock out with Pat Benatar? Nothing, now be agressive and take that guitar away from those dogs. Don't make me send my cats over there!

Darling pictures of the pups. Glad everyone had a good Christmas.
I'm jealous of Terrie commenting that she got her Christmas decor all packed away, geez I wish she would come and help me.
I came home from Vegas yesterday with a stinkin cold. Utah is freezing (probably not as much as where you are at though) and I hate the thought of running out to the storage shed with boxes of decorations. Oh well, tis the season I guess.
I hope we get to see Crumpet and Ozzie celebrating new years with you.

Love the giveaway goodies and the cool *N*! How sweet is that?

But oh wow. Your dogs have now given MY dog ideas...ya see? We got a Wii from Santa and Dan got Guitar Hero...now Kipper thinks if YOUR dogs can do it, HE can do it...'course, he t'ain't go a lick of musical ability. Nope but still he will probably hog the guitar and the game and I will never get a chance to break outta my 52 year old Mom persona and rock the world.
