HAPPY HALLOWEEN!!!

I take great joy in any opportunity to dress my dogs. It's a sickness I know...but it makes me laugh so I ain't lookin to stop anytime soon.

luckily they have a good sense of humor about it.

HAH ya gotta love a good "bee" joke.

ok..maybe not everyone thinks it's funny.

But we do agree on one thing for sure.....The whole gang here at our house wants to wish you all.......

And since this is a night for TREATS....I was "treated" very kindly by the following amazing bloggers. Firefly over at firefly-shop
Gave me this beautiful award. It's a special one she created herself so I feel really honored to have it. Go visit her and check out her beautiful blog!!

And Ally from Mommy Love
Who has a blog I just found recently.... gave me this beautiful award she designed and created! Isn't it cool! She has three adorable kids and a really cute blog. Go give her a visit!

AJ from "A work in Progress" was sweet enough to think of me for this award. I've been going to her blog for quite some time. She has these 2 adorable daughters that make me smile...and she has lots of fun idea. Thanks AJ!

And finally.....This award is very special to me. It was given to me by Beth from Aunties with Advice When I discovered her blog I just knew that I would be hooked on it forever. She is such a sweet lady and she warms my heart with her kindness. And her blog always makes me feel warm and fuzzy. Go meet her if you haven't already. You'll see exactly what I mean.

Thanks to all you lovely bloggers. The awards are a precious gift and I greatly appreciate them.

NOW LETS ALL GO EAT TOO MUCH CANDY!!!

Congrats on your awards! You are very deserving of them. Absolutely love Crumpet and Ozgood's costumes. Maybe Ozgood should have had a little devil's costume and of course, Crumpet would have the angel costume ;) Thanks for stopping by and I hope you had a WONDERFUL 48th BIRTHDAY!!! I hope your DH planned something. I know if he did we will see pics soon.

LMAO! Your dogs have such a sense of humor! I'll have to share with them a picture of my dogs dressed up for Halloween. Xena went as her Vet last year and Molly was a princess. The princess costume makes me laugh so hard that the pictures usually come out blurry do to extreme laughing fits.

Happy Halloween to you too!

Crumpie and Ozzie are so cute and funny in their costumes! They really do look like they could be saying those things.

Where oh where do I start? I have been away too long (I am not the woman YOU are---you actually work AND blog. When I have my seasonal sales--like now to Dec.---my blog visiting and post writing seem to slow waaaaay down! I guess it is because you are so danged YOUNG and I am considerably older! THERE, don't you feel better already????)

Anyway, back to WHERE do I start? Gotta tell you those sweet poochies look like little HW Doggie Models!!! My little critters won't sit still for a costume fitting--cept THE STONE RABBIT! He sits realllllll still. Will your canine pals share the treats they get after their finished Trick or Treating?

I LOVED your photos of YOU on your birthday post! HAPPY BELATED BIRTHDAY!!! Even though I am lots older than you, some of those early hairdos look, oddly enough, like some of mine. I guess "good dos" are timeless!!! Your description of your body parts changing and your coping with that was hysterical. Keep on laughing! It don't get no better! But you are right---ya just gotta laugh about it. When I was working with kiddos in the pub. school setting (10 years ago, so I was just 50 then), a little boy was across the table from me and kept looking at me. I was busy writing something and I finally asked him what he was looking at and he said: "Why does your hair look so young and your face doesn't?" Well, those little boogers just tell it like it is! After I picked my jaw up from the table and fluffed my hair a bit, I just smiled at the little dear and said "That's because I am OLD." That day was a real awakening. If the kids saw me as old, so did my family and my friends and EVERYBODY else on earth. I was really in a funk for a while and then I remembered something that has helped me cope with aging and appreciate my journey. My sis died when she was 40--unexpectedly. I was 42 at the time. She didn't have a chance to get saggy or wrinkled or need Depends or thick glasses. She also didn't get to see her daughter grow up and get married. All of those good things that happen with aging--she missed out on. Well, I have been lucky enough to experience both the good and the bad---and I am thankful for that! So, MS Birthday Girl, you look fab. to me---you have a great sense of humor and a wonderful gift of creativity--and a great life with this hubby and your POOCHES and your kids! I say, Keep on Enjoying those Birthdays! happy, happy, happy!!! L, dana

Oh, yes, I LOVED the backyard saga! And of course, congrats on all of your awards!! You deserve every stinkin one of them!!!

You are so fun Nikki. I love your dogs. They are "honeys". I would have had hives too. I always believe that dogs are here for owners entertainment sometimes. It is so much fun.

Happy Halloween Nikki! Your furbabies are too precious!

My furbabies think I've lost my marbles. Roxy is wearing a Little Monster shirt & Sammie is wearing a Halloween dish towel for their pictures this year. I couln't find Chief's costume from last year, he was supposed to wear his padded vinyl sportscar. Bailey wouldn't hold still for a hat & Murphy just doesn't feel good, so I didn't bother him with the dress up. :0} Diane

Congrats on the awards! You Rock. And I am NOT saying that because I mean you are 5 yrs older than me and need a rockin' chair. Okay, maybe I mean it just a tad.... And the dogs look super. Way to continually humiliate them and keep them in their place. I love it. I have missed you!!!!

I came back to read some more of your blog...I am in your old home state...Utah. Moved here (Cedar City area)3 years ago from Las Vegas.
I was laughing over the blog about how people talk in Mass. Would drive me crazy...but I love the colors there in the fall. I want to take a trip to all the New England states someday, just to see the colors and the neat houses.
You sure get a lot of comments, I don't know how you can keep up with all of them.
