~♥~ I WISH WEDNESDAY ~♥~

WOO HOO an "I Wish Wednesday" that is actually on Wednesday.....because sometimes....that's how I roll.

I wish....................Parenting came with instructions....Because I'm pretty sure the manual would read..."do not fold, spindle, or mutilate"

I wish....................That I had some "CLASS" in my decorating like Debra over at "The English Cottage".....that stuff in the bottle....Dish washing soap! Now THAT'S classy! Check out her blog...it's filled with all kinds of amazing ideas.

I wish................I could spend some time with these guys....Mom misses you soooo darn bad...... I miss all your silliness and the laughter you bring.

Lindsey & Jessica
Lindsey, grandma, Jared & Jessica

And I wish you had been there with us too. You need to come see your mommy....all of you!....and SOON!
Lacey

I wish....................That I had the incredible writing skills of Denene Millner over at "My Brown Baby"....not only did her latest book hit the #1 spot....but she writes the most heart warming posts like THIS one. She is a joy to read and a MUST visit.

I wish....................Some people had friends who would tell them the truth.

I wish...................That this adorable little nugget will just keep on growing and growing so Joel & Becca can bring her home from the hospital. Isn't she the cutest thing! You can visit her over at "Making Memories of Us" . Just stop in and say a little prayer for sweet Lila.

I wish..................Everyone would turn this darned thing off!!! I have come to really hate "word verification". I guess it's because I'm old...but sheeesh sometimes I can hardly read the stupid letters...and it takes me 2 or 3 tries. I know Braja ,who is a very hip and cool lady, hates it too....are we the only ones out there that this is driving BONKERS?

I wish......................that everyday was filled with laughter....and to help you out with that I'm sending you to one VERY funny post done by this VERY funny lady over at the Fragrant Liar. Click HERE and let the laughing begin...seriously...don't skip this....I'll wait.........

I wish.....................that some days just weren't like this.

I wish.........................that every time I eat Chinese....this thought doesn't run through my head.

Thanks for coming by for "I Wish Wednesday" .......Here's to hoping that wishes do come true....and that people only wish "happy stuff". So tell me....what do you wish for?

I went to the english cottage blog...(I think that is what it is called).....WOW I am a fan already!
thanks for the giggles...and for outing us for our secret desires!!!! lol

I strongly dislike word verification too. I really doubt that it keeps "spammers" or whatever it's suppose to prevent away. I hope you get to see your kids soon. Your youngest daughter reminds me of a NON-TRASHY Paris Hilton! Have a happy Wednesday - what's left of it!

Four Paws and Co said...

Good one Nikki! I loved your family photos. They're awesome!

I hate word verifications, too and evidently I can't type because I have to keep on trying sometimes. :0{

I was giggling and wiggling and laughing like a fool as I read this super fun packed post of yours---UNTIL I got to the Chinese Rest. Marque thingy about CATS!!! Now, Nikki, I am a cat lover from the word GO--the THOUGHT of someone munching on feline cuisine is JUST one of the most upsetting thoughts that could possibly cross my foggy mind. Oh my, oh my! I am holding my furry buddies close--NO one shall nab one of my precious babes to be used as (gasp!) a MAIN COURSE surrounded by snow peas! :)

You've outdone yourself--once more! Dana

After reading this post, my only wish is one of yours - that the poor man with no friends will be rescued before anymore onlookers have to pay the price of his fashion-nonsense.

That was truly painful.

I wish everyone would turn off their WV too.

I have only been spammed three times in the year I have been blogging. No biggy....you just delete the posts.

One sneaky spammer thought they could put their spams in old posts on my 365 blog. But I'm too smart for them. Mawahahaha!

Sara's Sweet Surprise said...

I wish someday my blog will grow to be even a tiney shadow of your reflection!!!
I'm tired of word verification too. So I'm granting your wish and will remove mine. So don't spam me now.
Please tell me that was a Cabbage Patch doll in that basket!
What gets me is the guy in the mini looks better than I would!

Sweet Wishes,

I totally agree about turning off "word verification." I turned mine off months ago, and I have had no problems.

Justine said...

I love your Wednesday posts! How do you find all these funny pictures? And OMG, the word verification! That is the one thing I forgot to add to my Q&A post when French asked what pisses me off about bloggers. What do these people think they're protecting by making us do that? It's damn annoying!

Your kids are all beautiful. They all live far from you?

Justine :o )

I love that sign! I think everything is better when it's said in a Chinese accent. And what an adorable baby. My best friend has a little grandson who was born very preemie too, and he's just a few ounces under her weight right now. So so tiny. Hate Hate HATE word verification!! Especially when you know you typed it right, but it doesn't think so.

The Chinese Food place killed me!

HATE word verification! I usually have to do it two or three time, even when I KNOW I was right the first time.

The baby is so sweet. I pray she be able to come home soon.

Gotta say that I was surprised to see this post on Wednesday...you're throwing me off today. ;-)

P.S, I agree with you on word verification however I also get some funny ones now and then. I had "dograp" and "bulsizer" last week.

Too funny, as usual! And i hate word verification too. Since i don't have blogger either it makes it hard!

Hello Nikki, I am sorry I missed a few of your posts. I'm back and I really got a good chuckle out of this one. You do make a blogger's day girl. I am just laying around these past couple of days trying to figure out why I decided to get the confounded surgery. LOL. I went willingly too. Oh, don't worry I am having a pity party that's all. In another week I will start therapy away from home and at least I can improve faster that way. This surgery requires lots of patience. I will be released in May and that was my goal. New knees sounds good to me. smile.

Have a wonderful day.
