++ The Beauty of New England ++

Okay..enough of the nonsense posts. I'm gonna be serious and boring for a couple of days...so take a "NO-Doze" or drink a Red Bull and try to follow along.

One of my favorite things about New England is the amazing architecture of it's old churches. In driving around my little town and the towns surrounding it...there are so many examples of the churches that give New England it's charm and character. I took the following pictures all within about a 10 mile trip from my home.

These next two are in Boston

I can't take credit for the photograpy of these final two (not that you couldn't tell since none of the power lines are showing)...they are in Vermont, and were just to pretty to not include them.

I hope you all have beautiful Sunshine!..well tomorrow I mean...since it's night and if it were bright and sunny...well that would be just plain weird.

And remember to SMILE :]

The way will be lighter, the worries will be fewer, the confrontations will be less difficult, if we cultivate a spirit of happiness. ~~Gordon B. Hinckley

You do live in such a beautiful area. It's also so green and lush. Love the architecture on the churches. You just can't find that anymore. Also love the quote at the end. Thanks for visiting me also and leaving me such kind words. I'll take this one baby step at a time.

Stunning!

My daughter and I traveled to Boston this past spring, and the architecture was out of this world! Of course, she and her friends were more interested in the Duck Boat rides and seeing "Blue Man Group"!!! hahaha!

Thanks for visiting our blog. I guess you noticed it's under construction like twin1's house. I checked it today and called her at work to tell her someone came in a stole our blog friend list. She said it happen while she was trying to spruce up the place. She's the one with all the computer knowledge so I know I'm not pushing any buttons. I'd probably erase the whole thing! I'll have my daughter look at it after school. Those teenagers are wizzes on the computer!

Hi Nikki :)

Gorgeous pictures! Of all my favorite pieces of architecture, churches are on the top of the list. My aunt was married in the oldest church in boston, the North Church (I think) when I was 16 and all I can remember is how gorgeous it was inside.

rue

Hi Nikki, You didn't bore me at all. We don't have much of that type of architecture out west so it is a treat for me to see those photos.
I look forward to seeing more of New England anytime you want to "bore" me!

LOL CALM DOWN GIRL! hehehe We only saw two trees all day like that! LOL There are always a few stray maples that tease us so early. I do think you will have to go WAY up north to get much color in two weeks. Too bad they didn't wait!

Everything is so beautiful! I just love the east coast. We are so architecturally deprived here in California. I've always thought that deep down inside I was meant to live on the east coast. Someday...

I had to stop back see those churchs again . I never read any thing by , Gordon B Hindkley but have seen his picture on my good friend's wall . One thing I respect and wish more people did is Family Night .
Her and I have had some fun with the greenies , she's a big tease so she colors every thing green for their first meal at her home . Her and I don't go to the same church but we're great friends . She calls me Mary Menninite
Have a great evening friend , Mary
