:::DID CHRISTMAS COME EARLY??? :::

AIN'T LIFE JUST GRAND !!I had the most awesome day today. I think the postman either has a mad crush on me...or the people in blogland are the MOST INCREDIBLE PEOPLE ON THE PLANET......
Just look what was waiting for me upon my arrival home from work....

First The beautiful and generous Kindra of "3 guys a girl and a Prim Place" had a give-a-way a couple of weeks ago. Her handsome son Kellon choose my name as the WINNER!!! WOO HOO YAY! She had made this gorgeous hand painted game board as the prize. She also has an Etsy shop and I couldn't resist ordering the name blocks to go with my wonderful prize....check this out!

I'm still trying to decide how to display them....heck I've found 3 different places in my house that they look awesome! They will probably migrate around my house and get accessorized a million different ways! Make sure to take the time to go see Kindra's blog and the wonderous stuff she makes. The prices are fabulous and her work is exceptional!

AND IF THAT WASN'T ENOUGH!!!

I've had a chance to meet so many amazing people here in blogland. I can't tell you how glad I am that BJ finally drug me over here. One of those special people I've had the pleasure to meet is Tracey over at "I am me"" She is so kind and sweet and has a really lovely blog. Her love of animals is amazing and I admire how she takes care of so many of God's furry creatures. And she generously sent me a very special package full of goodies galore!!!

At this point my heart is thumping because I just know there is something awesome hiding under all that paper........

YIPPEEEEE just look at the pretty card...and CHECK OUT THE adorable handmade tags on each gift. I can't believe she went to so much trouble to make such beautiful tags!!!! She remembered my little buddy Ozzie.....

And my bigger buddy Crumpet.....

And stuff for Nikki....YAY THAT'S ME!!!! I love the little ribbons and the cool gift wrap...she really went the extra mile to make it special!

The first gift was a beautiful Notebook. With books on the cover...hmmm she's been paying close attention to the fact I love to read.....

And the final package was this amazing picture frame...it's really heavy...and looks like stone. And it has the most precious quote carved into the front.

THANK YOU TRACEY!!

It is a lovely and thoughtful gift and I appreciate the fact that you took the time and went to so much trouble to make it extra special!

Both of these ladies are a perfect example of generosity and grace. I appreciate you both so very much!

What great goodies! OK-Twilight-it is so hard to explain why to read them. I was embarassed to tell people that I liked them when I first read them. But, they are geared towards Young Adults. Girls-teenagers. So the love story is innocent enough. But, the concept is really intriquing. Good vampires? Huh? And there is always a little mysterious twist, that you never saw coming. If you go that route, I would love to know what you thought.

BTW-I saw that you like Odd Thomas. I suggested that on Saturday as a book that we should consider. The same person that referred me to the Twilight series told me about Odd Thomas just a month ago or so-then I was looking at your profile and saw it listed....in the mouth of two or three witnesses...so I suggested it to book club!

All I can say-read it-you'll love it!

Oh and BTW #2-we are going to Utah for Christmas. I am so excited-I am seriously on the countdown! Isn't your family from Utah coming soon? I hope you have so much fun with them! Is it weird that I feel and act like I know you?

Nikki,

What cute stuff! I will totally need to meet Tracey. I tend to flock towards people that love animals as much as I do. And by the way, you are my new favorite commenter. I think I'm going to print out your comments and frame them. I'm not kidding!!! Also, love how you use the word "freaking". My favorite word!

Sometimes we touch lives through our words without even knowing it. It's so nice when someone lets us know that we matter to them. It warms the heart.

What wonderful gifts! I can't believe you WON that gameboard! It's fantastic! I used to sort of/still do collect gameboards. I can't afford the REAL ones, so reproductions work for me. Yours is wonderful!

Nikki, Lucky, lucky you. The best part is how wonderful your game board fit you decor. How fun to do changes as well.

And then, more gifts all so wonderful.
All just for you and the ahem, stars of your blog. Smile.

Nikki, thanks for all of your kind visits and words of support during these past days. I am actually feeling much better now. Knee replacement is tough, but I'm tougher, sometimes. smile.
