BIG THANKS ♥ & A GIVEAWAY!

First thing I'd like to say THANKS for all the help and suggestions on my camera. The advice for putting it in with uncooked rice...though a little crazy sounding...turned out to be pretty darn smart! Some of the functions are still not working, I get error messages when I download the pictures, and the photos are a bit fuzzy...but danged if it's not sorta working again! So thanks a bunch for the great advice!

And while we're on the subject of saying thanks....I owe a great big THANKS to Justine and Jill. Those two might be wild and crazy. But they have hearts of pure gold! I got a surprise package in the mail the other day...and I haven't stopped grinning since. They were shopping one day and saw something that reminded them of me...and they bought it and sent it out "just because". Check this out!!
My fuzzy picture doesn't do it justice at all. But it is the cutest thing you ever saw. I have it sitting on my computer desk and it tickles me everytime I look at it. A couple weeks ago SITS had a spring fling day where there were tons of prizes and a gazillion blogs to visit that were all having giveaways. The ladies at SITS are always doing something fun. Since it was my day off, I plopped down with my computer and spent the ENTIRE day blog hopping and entering contests.

And not only did I find some awesome blogs...but I won some really cool stuff. I got this from our dear bloggy friend Sandy Toes from "Shell in your Pocket" She painted the watering can with chalkboard paint so I can write on it...and she included some other special little gifts. SHE ROCKS!

I also won these pretty pearl earrings from Jeannie. Her blog "Jeannie's Happy World" is a new one I found and now I am hooked! Check out the adorable handmade card she sent with the prize...It's a prize all by itself! Thanks Jeannie!

I found an Etsy store called Polpette Clay that just blew me away. I love things that make me smile and laugh and her creations did just that. So I ordered some of her fridge magnets....and they are even cuter in real life! So I figured I'd share the love...because anything this HAPPY needs to be shared. I wish............................The snow would melt........but not nearly as bad as this guy does!!!!

I wish.........................To say a heartfelt thanks to Stacy for being such an incredibly nice lady......she discovered a glitch in my blog button...and took the time to fix it....she's really cool like that! Not only is she gorgeous on the outside...but she's beautiful on the inside too! She also has a really great blog over HERE....check her out!

I wish.............................That someone would explain why it is necessary to have this warning on a set of screwdrivers.... The funniest part....a written warning wasn't enough.....they had to add the pictorial instructions!

I wish.....................that everyone will send out prayers for our Dear Braja and her husband Jahnu and their driver....that God will bless them with a speedy recovery....and that you'll go HERE and let her know she's loved.

I wish..........................that this turns out to be as cool as I think it will. I ordered it and it will be here just in time to sit and wait a freaking month or two while the snow melts!!!! And woo hoo it holds 350 pounds so even I can use it!!!

I wish...............................to inform Kim Kardashian that she doesn't even KNOW junk in the trunk!!!! This chick could beat you with one cheek tied behind her back!

I wish..................................to introduce you to Diane from Four Paws and Co. Who is one of the niftiest ladies in blogland. You guys are always asking where I get some of my pictures. Well this wild woman is one of the people who passes them on to me. And she's a dog lover so you know she's awesome! THANKS Diane!

I wish.......................that this economic crisis wasn't causing a cut back for our K-9 Police units......

I wish.................................I didn't have to get a new one of these.....I wish I didn't have to admit what I did to the old one. But I will in my next post......

WHEN EYEBROWS GO BAD......

You ever have one of those days when you look in the mirror......and realize your eyebrows are "channeling" Andy Rooney? Well if not....just wait sister...your time is coming!

After contemplating my new "look" I came to the conclusion that it might be time to to give the brows a good whacking. But I didn't want to jump into it without being prepared. You can't just start randomly cutting and plucking...there is an art to the correct brow-do.

Or as we can see from the following examples......the brow-don't.......

they are supposed to "frame your eyes"...not the entire state of Texas.

Maybe if we highlight our lips....no one will notice our brows are disappearing.......
