1982 WAS A VERY GOOD YEAR!

27 Years ago on March 14th... Lindsey came into my world....You were such a sweet baby....slept through the night from day one....

And you're still a championship sleeper to this day. . . . No honey....morning does NOT arrive at 1:00 PM.
With Curly hair and a silly smile....you brought joy into my life.

Goofy and kind, and fiercely protective of your family...............

when the teen years arrived....so did ALL OF MOMMA'S GREY HAIR!!!!!
I lost a lot of sleep, and most of my sanity.............It's amazing we both survived.

You are so smart....It's hard to get anything past you. And you always know how to make me laugh.

You try to hide your soft smooshie side with that tough girl exterior .... but underneath is a pink princess who loves sparkle and has a heart of pure gold.
And without you this family would not be complete............

Although I've tried and tried to tame that wild side of you.................

I have to admit......I'm dang proud you're my kid! (although I still want to pull those piercings out) .....But do you know what the best part about you is?..... you're my daughter and my friend.

And even though some things NEVER change.............

And some things change a LOT!.................

One thing will always be the same no matter what.....I will always love you with all my heart. And you will always be my little Lindzer Binzer Banzai Buns. And Momma is so very glad that God blessed my life by sending you to me.

Happy birthday home slice ♥

~♥~ I WISH WEDNESDAY ~♥~

Welcome to another episode of I Wish Wednesday....brought to you by the fine people at blogger....who "ate" this post about 4 times and wouldn't let me download several of the pictures. Okay....I give up...you win! Now can't we all just get along?

I wish....................my parents had given me the really cool stuff at Christmas. All my dolls ever did was blink their creepy little eyes.

I wish.....................That our President had enough class to know that you DON'T give back a gift that was given to this country right after 911 as a show of support from the British people. And when the Prime Minister explains to you that it was a gift...you don't insist he take it back anyway. And then proceed to NOT hold a state dinner in honor of his visit because "you are too tired". I would like to apologize to every British Citizen. And by the way Michelle....remember when you said "I've never been proud of being an American until now".....well I've never been more ashamed.

I wish.....................that it didn't look like this guy was right!

I wish........................that Angela who has one of my most favorite blogs HERE....would find a different angle to photograph her wonderful dogs....sheeesh woman enough with the butt shots!

I wish..................that as a mother, I could be really ANGRY about this label and it's sexist attitudes...and I would be...if I wasn't laughing so hard.

I wish......................that some mothers were smart enough to know that those aren't handles!!!!!

I wish......................that everyone would click HERE and go see these adorable fridge magnets that Holly made. I mean come on.....how can you not see these things and smile. You should see the rest of them. I am so very in LOVE with all her stuff. Check it out!
This one is called "girls night out"

THIS one is my favorite....but I truly ♥ them all.

I wish.........................my mom had told me all the stuff I needed to know to be a real woman!

I wish.......................I understood everything this sign is trying to warn me about.....and I wish I knew why it makes me relieved I'm not a man.

I wish............................That everyone who hasn't had the pleasure to read a post by Rene would click HERE. I don't even need to link to a special post....because every thing she writes is entertaining and worth the time.

I wish.................I had known about this place when my kids were young.....PARTY!

I wish.....................that everyone was this considerate!!!

Thanks for joining me....and I hope that all your wishes come true...except for those freaky ones you've been wishing lately...cripes some of you scare me!

HAPPY STUFF AND RANDOM CONFUSION.

During the 8 months or so that I've been blogging...I've had the chance to meet some really special people. It's funny how sometimes you just "connect" with someone who you've never met. Dana from over at Life Is Good is one of those people. She has a truly funny blog...she has this tough sarcastic exterior....and then you get to know her and find out she is a big old gooey marshmallow on the inside. Not only that, but she has a heart of gold. She's been pretty sick the last few weeks...in and out of the emergency room...and she still made time to hand make me this gorgeous card. It is exceptionally made...and I LOVE it!

Check out the wonderful detailing................

Thank you Dana....you are one in a million! Go over to her place HERE and tell her to take care of herself so she can get better soon!!!

Since the economy is so BAD, and me being the good American that I am...I decided to do my part and stimulate the economy by shopping. I bought this BAD BOY from Pottery Barn. It's 6' long and oh so distressed and chippy. My hubby came home from work.....took one look at it....rolled his eyes and said "what the crap did a giant #2 pencil cost me?" Needless to say he and I don't share the same opinion of "what art is" Now I just have to figure out where to hang it!

You fellow Bloggers....BAD! Why you ask. Because I see all the cool stuff you guys use to decorate...like great cloches, apothecary jars, pedestals, and crowns....then I can't figure out what the heck to put in them!!! So they sit empty, hopeless and looking pitiful. So it is YOUR duty to help me!!! What do I put in, on and around this stuff???

The details on this one are nice....huh?

I love this one......I'm thinking outside when the weather warms up. But what do I stick in there?

I couldn't resist for just $4 but what do I set on there?

Is there anything sadder than an empty jar taking up counter space? So what do I fill em with that won't cost a bloomin fortune?

And I found these fabo crowns from Wisteria....but I can't make them look good anywhere!!!

So HELP me ladies.....you got me into this mess!!!!!

~♥~ I WISH WEDNESDAY ~♥~

Welcome to another Wednesday. First I'd like to say that if you notice this post is missing a picture....and it just doesn't feel quite "complete"...you can thank the wench WENDY over at "No Botox allowed" for that. The biddy stole a picture I was going to use...and YES I did have exclusive rights even if it is all over the internet. Go see her and laugh at MY picture. I hope you're happy woman!

I wish.........................men weren't allowed to design shoes.

I wish...........................that I had a little nugget like this one at my house. She makes me smile everytime I visit her at John Deere Mom. In fact the whole blog makes me smile. Go see what I mean.

I wish....................to never become "take out" for shamu.

I wish........................I was pretty.

I wish........................That everyone would read THIS post over at Mommy from the Midwest. I was cracking up. And how can you resist this face! Midwest mommy ALWAYS gives me a good laugh...you should meet her!

I wish.......................no teddybear ever felt this desperate again....people...hug them teddies!!!

I wish..........................I had me one of these.

I wish..........................God had blessed me with the exceptional talent he gifted Linda with. You can't even believe the AMAZING stuff she creates. Check out the genius that is Linda HERE. Yes she made this.........

And created this too!

I wish........................I was smart enough to figure out how this is gonna work. (ya might have to enlarge the picture....but it says "Emergency telephone...dial 999)

I wish......................I could shake the hand of the guy who put up the prices. I love a man with a sense of humor in the face of tragedy.

I wish..............................to see the look on the face of the person who was going to change their mind.

I wish...........................Parents would THINK before they serve GI Joe for dinner.

Thanks for stopping by for another I wish Wednesday. So tell me....do you have anything you're wishing for ? (besides winning the power ball...because that jackpot is MINE MINE MINE)
