WOO HOO an "I Wish Wednesday" that is actually on Wednesday.....because sometimes....that's how I roll.


I wish....................Parenting came with instructions....Because I'm pretty sure the manual would read..."do not fold, spindle, or mutilate"

I wish....................That I had some "CLASS" in my decorating like Debra over at "The English Cottage".....that stuff in the bottle....Dish washing soap! Now THAT'S classy! Check out her blog...it's filled with all kinds of amazing ideas.

I wish................I could spend some time with these guys....Mom misses you soooo darn bad...... I miss all your silliness and the laughter you bring.

I wish....................That I had the incredible writing skills of Denene Millner over at "My Brown Baby"....not only did her latest book hit the #1 spot....but she writes the most heart warming posts like THIS one. She is a joy to read and a MUST visit.

I wish....................Some people had friends who would tell them the truth.




I wish...................That this adorable little nugget will just keep on growing and growing so Joel & Becca can bring her home from the hospital. Isn't she the cutest thing! You can visit her over at "Making Memories of Us" . Just stop in and say a little prayer for sweet Lila.

I wish..................Everyone would turn this darned thing off!!! I have come to really hate "word verification". I guess it's because I'm old...but sheeesh sometimes I can hardly read the stupid letters...and it takes me 2 or 3 tries. I know Braja ,who is a very hip and cool lady, hates it too....are we the only ones out there that this is driving BONKERS?

I'm sure by now everyone has seen the "interview" meme that's been floating around. When I got the chance to have one of my most favorite bloggers ask me the questions....I decided I'd play along. 1. What are the top ten five items you would want to do on your Bucket List? ( Or before you die)
Travel to Europe with the hubby, hold a grandchild or two, see both of my daughters get married to great guys, retire and spend quality time with my hubby, get together will hundreds of my favorite bloggers and have the BIGGEST party on the planet.


2. With all the books you've read which one is your absolute favorite, besides the Bible, and why?
Dean Koontz "Odd Thomas" It's the only book that has ever made me break out in goose bumps. I wish Mr. Koontz would WRITE FASTER....I loved all his books.


3. Who has been the biggest inspiration in your life?
My mom....I'm pretty sure she is an alien...no human being has that much energy!


4. What would you consider to be your greatest accomplishment?
Raising 3 amazing kids who make me proud to be their mommy...and who showed great resiliency in surviving my parenting skills


5. If you could be doing anything, what would it be ?
Is this where I am supposed to say "create world peace"??? If you mean as a career...then I'd say be an architect OR the president of the United States...although I'd settle for being Queen too......if you mean "anything" I'd say be able to FLY!

6. How did you meet your husband?
I bought him on the Internet at Studs-R-Us ...and I got a really good deal on him too!!!!


7. What was you most embarrassing moment?
Well there was that time with the peanut butter, the tennis racket, and an ocelot......


8. What brings you Joy?
Making people laugh....the sound of it is like hearing angels sing........so be sure to type "LOL" or "hahaha" in all your comments....I really ♥ that!

I know....my Wednesday post has become habitually Thursday or Friday...I'm a slacker what can I say....forgive me and carry on......

I wish..................That my beloved American Idol judges had been concerned enough about my sanity to NOT put Tatiana through.....they must really hate me to subject me to more of this ANNOYING chick! AMERICAN....VOTE HER OUT THE FIRST ROUND PLEEEEEEEEASE.

I wish....................there was an adequate way to express how much this surprise package meant to me. Ginger from "The Gingerbread Shed" sent this to me....just because.

Look at this adorable plate & stand. It made me get all teary eyed when I read what it said...and she also sent a beautiful card and my FAVORITE treat in the whole world....CHOCOLATE. All wrapped up in a shiny gift bag. Go over and visit her blog...you'll discover what a special lady she is. Thank you Ginger...you really touched my heart♥

I wish................that I could say I wouldn't eat here if it became totally necessary....but when a girl needs a coke and chicken nuggets...well.....ya do what ya gotta do.

I wish.................that Rachael over at "A little bit of Crazy" wasn't so darn stingy with sharing her pictures...she has this fancy schmancy geeky thing that stops you from copying them. FINE!!! Rachael but I only wanted one to link to you! But even though she won't SHARE...I still had to laugh at this post HERE and I'm sure you will too. She does great things with Photoshop. And I really enjoy her blog.

I wish...................I had a new GPS system for my truck......

I wish...............I could hang out with these ladies.....how cute is this??? Laura and her friends made paper dolls and these totally cracked me up. Go check them out at My life in Kentucky....it's a great blog and you'll love all of her posts!

I wish.....................I was a vegetarian....Oh wait....NO I don't...I love me some bacon.

I wish....................everyone had a man in there life like Fringe man... Click HERE and read what he wrote about his special Fringe Girl. The line "Fringe girl is the Crown Jewel of my life" made me get misty. What a sweet tribute from a hubby. And Happy Birthday to a really special lady.



I wish.....................I had half the talent of Peggy. This lady totally kills me....she takes simple things she has laying around the house and creates magic like this......

My hubby wishes.......................that my sense of humor didn't seem to be in a rut lately....he's getting tired of seeing me laugh at stuff like this........but I can't seem to help myself. I wish I would get this EXCITED about the weather!

I WANT TO BE HOT!

While sitting here wrapped up in fur blankets, wearing thermal underwear, and trying to keep my feet warm....I started thinking about all the reasons why Winter isn't my favorite season.


I'm pretty sure it has something to do with the fact that instead of looking into my backyard and seeing this.........

I get to feast my eyes on this...................

And when I arrive home at the end of a long day ....instead of coming here.........

I return to this...............

Summer days...floating in the pool...sipping an icy coke.....

slipping on ice and wondering where is my dang pool???

In the spring I enjoy stepping out my front door...........


Now I just have to watch my step............

Winter..........you suck!


I really need to have a chat with the big guy upstairs. Maybe we can negotiate this whole winter thing.......Either that or I'm going to buy a Hummer and drive endlessly around in circles so I can speed up Global Warming..... Because I am more than ready for the return to this...........
